Qualifications 
1.   Each team should be consisted of at least two members but not exceeding five members. The full age of the applicants on the application closing date i.e. 30 September 2013 shall be strictly complied with the instructed criteria or the team of such applicant will be deprived.
2.   In case of age and educational difference, the grouping of applicants is mainly based on age and educational program. For example, Student A, aged 13-16 years old, studies in an ordinary school for Thai and English program whereas Student B, aged 13-16 years old, studies in an international, bilingual and language school. This team will be categorized in Division 5: Students from International, Bilingual and Language Schools, aged 13-16 years old.
Remark:   The judgment of the committee on applicant grouping is final.
   
Rules and Regulations
Application Period: 17 June – 30 September 2013
1.   The participation and application to Asia Books Readers’ Theatre is free of charge.

2.   The numbers of the teams per each school per division are limited which are not over than 5 teams/ school/ division. Details are as following.

3.    The application form can be downloaded via Application Form or received at all Asia Books branches in Bangkok. 

The application should be submitted with these documents:
3.1 A copy of student ID card
3.2 A copy of house registration
3.3 A letter of certification issued by current educational institute

The application can be submitted to all branches of Asia Books or sent via postal mailing to Asia Books Co., Ltd., Berli Jucker House, 14th Floor 99 Soi Rubia, Sukhumvit 42 Road, Phrakanong, Klongtoey, Bangkok Metropolis 10320. The recipient shall be specified as “Marketing Division: Asia Books’ Readers’ Theatre V.”

Remark:
• The application form must be completely filled with telephone number in order to be easily contacted by Asia Books.
•The application form, names of team members and required documents can be submitted first whereas the demo clip can be sent not later than 30 September 2013.

4.   The video clip must be
• As only the clip which is not longer than 10 minutes
• Recorded as a MPEG4 file format.
• Written in a CD only.
• 1 team/ 1 CD/ 1 Application form.

Remark:
• Regarding the proper intellectual property rights, all participants must read the genuine book. Reading the materials that have been copied from originals (such as photo copy version) during the show is not allowed. However, except the Division 6&7, the participants will use the “Braille book” for the competition.
• All applicants need to be participated in reading a book when showing. (Any applicants who only dramatize in the show will not be judged as a participant.)

5.   One of the books, listed by age, shall be selected for this competition. For more details, please visit Book list for competition or all Asia Books branches.
6.   All video clips will be considered by the committee complied with the instructed rules and regulations.
   
Qualifying of Video Clips during 1-11 October 2013 (35 teams)
All video clips will be considered by the committee complied with the instructed rules and regulations.
1.   Accent and Pronunciation Correctness 30%
2.   Tone Appropriateness 30%
3.   Creativity and Imagination 25%
4.   Acting Emotion and Acting Capability 15%
  Total 100%
Final Round on 25 November 2013
1.   The show of each team shall be not longer than 10 minutes.
2.   The applicants shall wear the uniform of their current educational institute.
3.   No props are allowed to be used on the staged (e.g. musical instruments, dresses, stage props etc.), except the book.
4.   Regarding the proper intellectual property rights, all participants must read the genuine book. 7.    The judgment of the committee is final.
