Responsibilities
1. IT Project Management/Implementation: Manage new and on-going IT projects in Asia Books to ensure timely delivery and resolutions of IT related issues. Develop project plan and schedules, milestones and checkpoints, coordination, execution, monitor project progress, and communicate project status. This would also cover the aspects of vendor management. 30%
2. Systems Management: Working closely with System Engineer to ensure optimum up time for all missions critical System Software, Servers and Corporate Networks. 15%
3. IT Support: Commissioning IT Support Team in providing technical support to users for troubleshooting problems with the Business Application, PCs, LANs and their components. Keep track of the problems and escalate them to vendor when appropriate. 15%
4. Business Users and Management Requirements: Supervise System Analyst in cross-functional communication; analyze change of business requirements that have significant impact on System. Provide consulting to management and make recommendation for new applications and enhancements that bring benefits. 10%
5. Enterprise Reporting Support : Generate ad-hoc queries and reports for users and sponsors in all aspects from the database. Analyze the requirements and specifications, use and benefits of Enterprise Reports requested by the users, assist in the prioritization process and communicate them clearly for development. Ensure the execution of batch scheduler and printing Enterprise Reports. 10%
6. IT Asset Management: Responsible for ensuring use of properly authorized or licensed software applications in the Company and to perform regular checks against use of unauthorized software in company-owned equipment. Responsible for optimal use of IT resources and recommend hardware upgrades/replacements/new acquisitions with business justification. Responsible for maintaining an updated inventory of IT assets and ensuring properly documented authorization of all acquisitions and disposals. 10%
7. IT Division Organization and Staff Development: Responsible for effective and efficient organization of the IT Division and clearly documented roles and responsibilities for each staff member. Responsible for coaching and development of IT Division staff and assessing their on-going performance. To delegate and assign accountability of critical IT functions and applications and to ensure sufficient training for back-up support for all critical mission systems.10%
Job Specification / Possible Profile
ท Male/Female, age above 35
ท Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science (MBA Degree would be an advantage)
ท 7-10 years in Information technology, and 3 years in management level. Technical experience in a RETAIL environment required
ท Experience more than 5 years in system analysis, database administration, software engineering, network design including supervisory experience, are required.
ท Technical Skills in following area
o ERP System (Oracle e-Business Suite would be advantage)
o Database Management : Oracle DBMS, SQL Server DBMS
o Point Of Sales System-POS
o Application Development with NET Framework.
o LAN & WAN System
o PC Hardware Configuration & Troubleshooting
ท Solid implementation and development experience.
ท Must have excellent people skills and be able to explain complex information to non-technical staff members within the organization.
